Day 48

Day 48 --- Still Not Smoking!!!

Today looks to be a fairly busy day here in the Hunt County hinterlands. One daughter is coming by to pick up a carload of stuff for her new house. That of course would be the Pregnant daughter! The other daughter wants me to take her to McKinney to look at laptop computers. The Hog Eye Stew Supper is tonight, which I really need to attend since I am now a canidate for Celeste City Council.

Yesterday I got a couple of the new dollar coins. I seriously doubt they will catch on except with the folks that collected the state quarters but I like them. I guess that makes me a "Sucker" too because I will get a few of each one of them and never spend them. The one released yesterday was the Washington Dollar, good choice on the Washington image and I love the image used for the back. (Yes you can expect a review of each dollar coin as they come out)

Yesterday the United States House of Representatives led by Nancy Pelosi gave comfort and aid to the Terrorists killing american soldiers in Iraq. Nancy and her Treasounous compatriots passed a "Non binding" resolution condemning the President for waging war on the Terrorists in Iraq.

Now Congressman Murtha is trying to cut off the funding for the soldiers fighting in Iraq. The very ideal of the congress would even consider cutting off funding while our troops are being shot at by terrorists in Iraq is contemptable.
