MEXICO CITY (AP) -
Opinion makers and migrant advocates in Mexico said Friday that the collapse of U.S. immigration reform plans hurts Mexican workers, U.S. employers and anti-terrorism efforts.
President Bush's plan to legalize as many as 12 million unlawful immigrants from around the world while fortifying the border failed in the U.S. Senate on Thursday.
"This is very bad news for Mexican migrants in the U.S.," said Jorge Bustamante, special rapporteur to the U.N. human rights commission for migrants. "It means the continuation and probably a worsening of the migrants' vulnerable conditions."

Owners Note: The hypocracy of the Mexican officials is pathetic. The Mexican Govt has soldiers stationed on its Southern Border and arrests anyone trying to sneak in. The Mexcan Govt will deport any person in Mexico illegally. Yet they condemn us for trying to protect our borders. More and More I am coming to realize that the only way we will every solve the problem of illegal immigration is by sealing our border and deporting every single person in this country illegally. Further we need to start imprisoning the people guilty of hiring these people instead of just giving them a slap on the wrist.
