Hard Day

WORK

Today was one of those days that my kids used to hide from me on. Today I read the Projects in South Dallas. An extremely hard day at work. Fortunately I survived it again without any problems. Well no problems to speak of. I continue to have constant pain in my feet, I am beginning to think I am suffering from the Planter Fishnites thing that they are always talking about on the radio. Or it could just be that I am too "heavy" for my feet.

Lions Club:

We had our Lions Club meeting tonight here in Celeste. Since I am the President I am not allowed to miss a meeting just because I am tired. Terrible turnout tonight but I think that it's my fault. I forgot to send out the newsletter Last friday and I suspect some of the members forgot about the meeting. If I am going to do a decent job as Club President I need to get better organized.

Politics:

Got a few responses from the email I sent out yesterday about Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson voting for Amnesty. Seems most of the folks on my email list agree with me that Senator Kay Bailey is out of touch with the people of Texas.

Sports:

The Bo-Sox beat the living crap out of the Rockies in Game One of the World Series, right now it is in the 7th inning of Game 2 and Boston has a one run lead. It's an Off Week for the Cowboys (I hate bye weeks). Their next game is against the Eagles.
