Took The Day off from thnking

Today is Saturday the 3rd of November. I decided to just sit on the couch and watch movies all day. After a really lousy week at work I felt like I deserved it. Friday much like the rest of the week turned out to be a real pain in the Clinton. Traffic around Dallas turned what is normally a very easy schedule day into a total disaster. I am beginning to think that the Traffic in the DFW Metroplex is a lost cause. It seems like there is a major accident on 635 every single day, Friday was no exception.

Ok enough whinning

Sports:

My beloved little Mavericks stormed into Atlanta to play the lowly Hawks and got beaten. It seems like we still have a lot more work to do before the Mavericks can dominate in the NBA. I am not going to let one loss worry me, I still believe.

The Boys play in Philly tommorrow night. The Boys have a much better team than Philly, but I am worried. It's hard to beat the Eagles at night in their house.

With a little less than four minutes left in the game Boston College is losing to Florida State. Not a big fan of Florida State but cant stand Boston College. The Aggies got their butts kicked bad by the Sooners today, hopefully Coach Fran has already started packing. The Longhorns (Book Em Horns) barely got by Oklahoma State. They should fall in the Polls again. #1 Ohio State won again today.

Politics:

Early Voting ended Friday. Tuesday is Election Day. I am planning on attending the Fanin County Repubican meeting Monday. It will be the first time I have contacted Fanin County Repubicans, we are hoping to build stronger relations with all the Groups in the counties around Hunt County.

Sports Update:

Florida State just scored with about a minute left in the game. Looks like Boston College is going down.

Movies:

The wife and I went out tonight. We went to see "The Martian Child" starring John and Joan Cusak. It is a good little movie (Feels like an art film) but I would recommend waiting till it comes out on DVD. I still want to suggest that you see this movie when you get a chance.
