In a previous post I mentioned that Ross Perot Jr was one of the Worst owners in Dallas Pro sports history. Thought I would take a moment and list some of the best and worst.
Best
1) Clint Murchison -- Dallas Cowboys
2) Jerry Jones ------ Dallas Cowboys 1989 thru present
3) Mark Cuban ----- Dallas Mavericks
4) Don Carter ----- Dallas Mavericks
5) George W Bush -- Texas Rangers
Worst
1) Tom Hicks --- --Texas Rangers
2) Tom Hicks ----- Dallas Stars
3) Ross Perot Jr -- Dallas Mavericks
4) Eddie Chiles --- Texas Rangers
5) Robert Short -- Texas Rangers
In their 48 year history the Cowboys have had three owners. Two have been good, one was totally forgetable. The Rangers have been in Dallas area for 37 years, they have had one good owner. The Stars have had two owners since moving to Dallas One was Terrible the other forgetable. The Mavs have had three owners, Two good one terrible.

6 League Championships (Five by the Cowboys, One by the Stars)
5 times the local team has LOST the league Championship (Cowboys 3, Mavs 1, Stars 1)
Division Champions (the Cowboys, Stars and Mavericks have all won multiple Division Titles)
Historically the worst sports franchise in Dallas History (including our minor league Hockey teams, the various soccer teams, the minor league baseball teams and the AFL Dallas Texans) are the Texas Rangers. The Rangers have been to the playoffs three times in 37 years, winning ONE game.
