As we all feel the pain of the escalating price of Gasoline let me give you a few things to think about in regards to the TAXES you pay for Gas and a few other items.
Estimated profit for the Oil Companies on a Gallon of Gas ---10 Cents
in Texas Tax on a gallon of Gas------------------------------20 Cents
In Texas tax on a pack of Smokes ---------------------------$1.41
In Texas tax on a Gallon of Tequila--------------------------$2.40

Perhaps the people getting "Fat" off of the high prices of Gas and Smokes are not Big Oil and Big Tobacco instead it's Big Government!
