Just another day in Paradise.

France continues to burn, but not as quickly as it did a few days back. It appears that the IslamoFascists that are causing the problem in France have in some ways acclimated to France. The French Govt started Talking tough and the Islamic Fanatics immediately started backing down. Sorta reminds you of the French Army. Perhaps that is the key to winning the war on Terrorism, turn all the Islamofacists into Frenchmen so that they are quick to surrender.

You may have guessed I am not a real big fan of the French.

Ok, moving right along.

I have mentioned once or twice that I post on a Political BB on a regular basis. I do this because I enjoy the lively exchange of ideals with people who dont always agree with me. I also enjoy debating with diehard liberals that are convinced that I am the spawn of the devil. (A Claim that my mother continues to deny angrily) The reason I am bringing this up is because lately there has been a excess of Evolution vs Bible "Debates" on this board. I have been watching these "Debates" and have noticed a few things. The threads quickly degenerate into a couple of hardline anti-christian evolutionists insulting religion and anyone crazy enough to believe in the Bible, and a couple of psuedo-religious extremists insulting evolution and anyone stupid enough to believe in the Theory of Evolution. Of course we also have the exciting and distracting side debate of the Anti-Catholic Extremists bashing everything about the Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Extremists attacking anyone and anything that is not part of the Catholic church. Why this particular sideshow keeps showing up in the Evolution threads is beyond me but I have noticed that pattern. I have come to a couple of conclusions.

1) The extremists on both sides will never change their minds or convince any sane rational person.

2) The only way to end these constant mindless hatefull diatribes being spewed by both sides is to invite all the participants to a complete re-enactment of the Shootout at the Ok Corrall. Give both sides weapons, ammunition and let them go at it. It does not really matter which side wins, either way the venom level is reduced.
