Day 116

Day 116 -- Still not smoking, Course I am not exactly sure how big a deal it is that I did not start smoking again while I was in the hospital. I mean after all they dont exactly encourage that kind of behaviour but I am still gonna count the days. Every day without a smoke is one more step towards breaking the habit permanently.

For those of yall that are intrested, and you should all be. Here is a new photo of my grandson. He is 5 weeks old now and now weighs over 6 pounds. He is without a doubt the cutest smartest boy in the world. Of course I will admit that I might be a bit biased. I finally got to hold him again this week. I can not describe the pleasure in getting to hold your first grandson, it is something you got to live to understand.

Well another year of disappointment and frustration. The stars went down in round one of the NHL Playoffs again this year. Of course the good news is that we actually got a playoff win at home this year for the first time in a long time. Better luck next year Stars.

If you read my blog for breaking sports news I am sure you have been very disappointed during this month, but we are getting back in the saddle finally. My beloved Mavs picked up a win last night in game 2 of the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs. We beat the Golden State Warriors coached by Don Nelson. The Mavs should destroy this team but for some reason whenever the Mavs get in the Playoffs Don Nelson is a jinx to them. Of course for the majority of the time that Nelson Jinxed the Mavs he was there coach. The Series stands at 1 and 1. Game 3 is Friday night. GO MAVS
