China - the Olympics

Democrat Leaders (an oxymoron phrase) are calling on President Bush to boycott the opening ceremony of the Chinese Olympics. Now their is a history of American Presidents boycotting the Olympics, think back to the glory days of President Jimmy Carter. He boycotted the 1980 Olympics in the Soviet Union because they had invaded Afgahnastan. I will not point out that this was just another failed ideal put forward by the most incompetent President in the history of our nation.

The Democrats and all those crazy protestors (I repeat myself) are opposed to the Chinese Olympics because:

a) China is the last "Great" Communist nation
b) China is the most polluted nation on the Earth at the moment
c) China routinely executes disidents
d) China refuses to free Tibet


The answer of course is D. Democrats have historically loved Communist countries (Cuba, Venzula, the USSR), Democrats are firmly convinced that only American's pollute and the Democrats consistantly ignore Chinese abuses of its people. THe Democrats and the Looney Left are all upset because the Chinese have occupied Tibet and the Dali Lami is in exile.





So you might question what are all these Liberals and Democrats doing to protest the Chinese occupation of Tibet? Are they refusing to buy Chinese products ----NO!, Are they condemning the brutal government of Chin that has been slaughtering it's own people since the end of World War 2----NO! They are attempting to extinguish the Olympic Torch. Now that will really "Harm" the Chinese Government. Once again the liberal Democrats are going for Appearance instead of Substance.

Let me see if I understand this correctly the Liberals and Democrats are willing to protest and committ violence in order to extinguish a symbol of International Cooperation in order to demand Tibetian Freedom but they Demand that we withdraw our troops that are fighting for Iraqi Freedom. I guess what they are saying is it is ok for Musims to be enslaved by a fanatic religious dictatorship but its wrong for Tibetians to be enslaved by a fanatic Communist dictatorship.
